Opening Day of Branch Conference

 

All the translation teams have been in the capital city of Port Vila since before Christmas.

This past week was our branch conference.  Last Sunday was a getting acquainted time at one of the beaches.  One of the fun activities for the kids was to build figures in the sand.

 Stein was on his knees while the creation was being formed

Jesiah (age 8) became a person with a long torso and long legs.

Jesiah was crouched in a deep hole while an adult man was laying on the ground in front of him.

Yes, his face is covered with the towel and also partially buried in sand!

At the base of the walk to the waterfalls

The water was quite cool so it was refreshing.

There is a high content of calcium in the water so it creates ledges that are hard and, surprisingly,

not slippery
